School Uniform

At their March 2021 meeting, our Local Governing Committee ratified an updated version of our school uniform policy.

School Uniform

It is our policy that all children should wear school uniform when attending our school, on the basis that:

  • it promotes a sense of pride in our school;
  • it engenders a feeling of community and belonging;
  • it is practical and smart;
  • it identifies children with the school;
  • it is not distracting in class (as fashion clothing might be);
  • it makes the children feel equal to their peers in terms of appearance;
  • it is regarded as suitable and good value for money;
  • it has been designed with health, safety and comfort in mind.

School Uniform:

  • Navy sweatshirt or cardigan with school logo
  • Pale blue polo shirt (school logo optional)
  • Grey trousers or shorts; grey skirt or pinafore, or blue and white check summer dress
  • Grey or white socks or grey tights
  • Black shoes

PE Kit:

Children should wear their PE kit to school on their PE day:

  • Pale blue T-shirt (logo optional)
  • Navy shorts (if desired in warm weather)
  • Plain navy or black jogging bottoms or leggings
  • Trainers
  • Plimsolls for indoor PE (can be kept in a bag in the school cloakroom)
  • School sweatshirt or cardigan
