Big Lent Walk

During Lent we are talking part in ‘The Big Lent Walk’ to raise money for CAFOD and have challengedourselves to walk 200km and raise £200. Walkwise

Our year 1 children have participated in a ‘Walkwise’ programme aimed and teaching the children about road safety. They contributed in classroom discussion and had practical lessons outside of school to help them learn the importance of road safety and crossing the road.

Nursery – Let’s Travel

In Nursery our topic is ‘Let’s Travel.’ We have been talking about and looking at features of our local area. The children have loved exploring our Washington Village map. They have picked out landmarks that they know and can talk about what they do there.
