Paper Mache Igloos
These children were very keen to make a paper mache igloo. They loved getting their hands all sticky and were very excited to see their creations once they had dried out. The children could not believe how hard the paper had gone and how it had take on the shape of the bowl we used. A great awe and wonder moment. Keep watching to see the finished products!
Two groups of children made bird cakes with seeds, nuts, fruits, apple and lard. They watched the lard change from a solid to a liquid and then back to a solid. They soon made the link with melting chocolate and suggested we should make chocolate crispies for Friday treat day.
